April Report From The River Moy

The water levels on the Moy have dropped significantly in the past few weeks making conditions for fishing much better. The Foxford Fishery has produced eight fish in the last week ending 19th of April, six to the rubber tailed spinner and two to the worm ranging in weight from 5 1/2 lbs to 11 1/2 lbs levels on the river are coming right fore fly now and with more anglers starting to fish, we look forward to a few good catches in May. The total for April on all of the fisheries in Mayo, from Ballina to East Mayo including Lough Conn is eighty spring salmon weighing up to 15 1/2 lbs.
